My journey through grief began during a season when everything seemed to unfold at once. Three of the people closest to me were growing increasingly ill, while I was still caring for my three daughters through the uncertainty of the COVID shutdown. As my strength and resources dwindled, I chose resilience over fear, trusting God to carry me through each day.
After my Husband received a kidney transplant, I believed brighter days were ahead. However, it wasn’t long before my Mother’s health declined rapidly, and she passed away in the Spring. In the months that followed, I watched my Father—my hero and the strongest man I knew—deteriorate quickly, while still holding tightly to faith and worship. And then on Christmas Day 2024, he also passed away.
In the midst of overwhelming loss, external pressures, and moments of deep heartbreak, God held me up when I could no longer stand on my own. Through tears, prayer, and healing encounters, I learned that mourning is not a weakness, but a reflection of love. This site contains what I learned after the loss of my Parents. I hope you find it helpful.
